Thanks to all

We got to see so many of our friends and family last weekend! Saturday’s open house went so well. People started coming around 2 and just kept coming by until 8! Sunday was great as well, the youth at the church let us take the spotlight after lunch. Bryan got up and gave a basic overview of the Peace Corps and what we will be doing as volunteers.

We have received so much support in such a variety of ways, whether that support be a show of interest, a pat on the back, a card, gift, or prayer we would like to thank everyone who has supported us. We are very blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

We have been spending the last few days relaxing with our families which has been very nice. Last week the weather went up into the low 70s so we went to the zoo! Yesterday we got to see it snow beautiful large flakes! It was wonderful to see another snow, I doubt we will be seeing snow in Africa, however we will not miss Oklahoma’s crazy weather extremes, that is for sure!

We are not packed yet and less than 10 days before we leave. We are still getting a few things off our list and taking care of the basic stuff like change of address and canceling our cell phones... that type of stuff. We are getting very excited!
